Tonight this year’s top basketball prospects will learn where they will begin their professional careers, and nothing could be more exciting. As a player, you never know what the man upstairs, David Stern, has in store. That’s especially true for the top lowest ranked centers. These brave men share a special bond: they know if they’re chosen they’ll have to appear at a press conference next to the team’s shortest executive and never play. As a fan, I find this as dehumanizing as having to root for them in any capacity.
